Speechless
So I haven’t blogged in this thing in quite some time and I figure now’s a very good time to do so.
I went to the Monster Ball last night (Lady GaGa) and words can barely express and describe how amazing it was. First off, apparently tickets were sold out in Februrary and I was SO bummed I couldn’t go. The DAY BEFORE the Monster Ball, I tried one last time to get tickets and there must have been some sort of angel helping me out because I managed to get them! So ecstatic.
Day of the concert. Had class, went frantically shopping around for an outfit..ended up just buying some big ol’ eyelashes instead and wore something of my own. Got ready in about 30 minutes and pulled off a mean pin-up girl ;) We (me and Jay) get to the concert and there are little monsters everywhere! What amazed me the most was the wide range of age groups from little kids to grandmas with glitter in their hair. AMAZING.
Seeing her perform was eye opening. Hearing her speak about hating money and hollywood bullshit was inspiring to say the least. She said she created the Monster Ball to be a place for everyone with insecurities, worries, fears, secrets, etc. to go and free themselves and we can all be together in this and be whoever we want to be… because we are superstars and we were fucking born that way. Hell yeah.
It just amazes me how much she cares about her fans. This is what people want and need in a singer, someone to make them feel loved no matter who they are.
Ever since the show I just can’t stop thinking about it and how it’s made me think differently and how much I respect her as a woman. I watched videos of her performing and such and read other monster’s comments and most all of them had something to do with coming back from her concert having it change their lives. Incredible.
I love my life right now, I love everyone in it… and I am so thankful to be where I am. I can honestly say that I am finally happy (not just because of the concert).

Day 18 - Something that tickles your fancy
I never really thought about how hard it would be to just cut all ties of communication with someone who you’ve cared about for 2 years. Kinda sucks. I was looking through my facebook pictures and it kinda hit me. I miss some shit, man. Just needed to write my thoughts out for a minute.
I would like to add that I have the greatest bunch of friends that anyone could ask for. You all mean the world and more to me. <3
